About US

Positive Impact was founded to be the most unique sports and entertainment agency in the world. No other agency has professionals who have worked on all sides of the table as facility planners and facility operators, as event owners and event operators, as team consultants and team owners we have literally performed at all levels of the sports and entertainment industry. Our work enhances the image, the success, the profitability and the value of the franchises, the leagues, the facilities, the events, the teams and the corporations that we serve.

In 2025, Positive Impact enters its 25th year of operations and has established itself globally as a proven force in the sports and entertainment industry. Building upon a known track record of success in venue management, event production, team ownership and organization, sports marketing and communications, we are well on the way to fulfilling our mission.

Our background is impressive: Our principals have managed mega-sports complexes, owned and operated a professional sports team, designed the game plan to merge an NBA and MLB team to create the most successful regional sports network in the United States and hosted over 4,500 public events being played to over 80 million fans. Our goal is to leverage that background and bring our clients immediate results learned from our principal’s 100+ years in the business.

Born in New Jersey, Positive Impact is a global firm that is committed to delivering extraordinary, high quality, practical business solutions to engagements that help clients soar above their competition in the sports and entertainment industry. We bring innovative ideas, balanced with industry standards that help leagues, teams, conferences, venue developers, facility operators, governments, universities, corporations and entertainment rights-holders meet the challenges they face in the revenue-driven world of sports and entertainment today.

As an example, ever wonder who could produce an NCAA basketball game featuring North Carolina and Michigan State atop the USS Carl Vinson, an active US Navy aircraft carrier?

That was Positive ImpacT.

Ever wonder who helped the XFL and the WUSA get their start in 16 sports stadiums or helped produce the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup in 9 Caribbean Countries?

Again, that was Positive Impact.

Positive Impact has the experience and vision to assemble the right team to solve large problems and to make quick progress in short-term situations.

That’s why Positive Impact has operated in over 17 countries to date and we’re not done yet!

Points of Differentiation

01. hard experience

Positive Impact's Principals have been in the trenches - we know what it takes to be successful, know what to do to enhance opportunities and know how to respond when the expected course of events change in a fast-paced environment. The many challenges of venue operations, event management and revenue generation are not new to Positive Impact’s President and Founder, Mike Rowe. As the former Executive Vice President of the Meadowlands Sports Complex, Rowe managed mega events such as the FIFA World Cup at Giants Stadium and the NCAA Final Four at the Continental Airlines Arena, in addition to negotiating leases with the New York Giants, the New York Jets, the NBA Nets and the NHL Devils. all while managing the 1,000-plus member staff. As the President of the New Jersey Nets, Rowe managed the business side of the rising NBA franchise while negotiating key agreements such as the team's media deals and creating a state-of-the-art practice facility and corporate headquarters, all while posting increased revenue records each and every year and seeing the valuation of the franchise rise 100% in 4 years.

02. unique skill sets

Positive Impact has been on all sides of the table and has successfully performed almost all of the tasks needed to be successful in the industry. Our skill sets cut across traditional lines of demarcation and include sales and marketing, operations, venue planning, event management, design consulting, construction coordination, asset review and finance, plus a most important attribute: The plain ability to get the job done in an effective and timely manner.

03. principal engagement

Our leadership is involved in all aspects of a client project - - from the initial strategic planning session right through to completion. Positive Impact is a hands-on organization that wants and needs to be involved in all major aspects of a particular assignment or project. Our seasoned veterans always accompany our up and coming young professionals and that knowledge, balance and energy is unmatched in our industry. We work with our clients as a value-added team member and can take the lead when required.
