Positive Impact Wraps Up Successful Inaugural BIG3 Basketball Season
POSITIVE IMPACT WRAPS UP SUCCESSFUL INAUGURAL BIG3 BASKETBALL SEASON
CRANBURY, NJ (August 28, 2017) – Positive Impact Sports and Entertainment has completed a ten week road trip with BIG3, a new 3-on-3 basketball league founded by rapper/actor Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz. The league featured mostly retired NBA players and some NBA Legends such as Allen Iverson, Dr. J, Kenyon Martin and Gary Payton.
Positive Impact was retained by BIG3 to assist with the production of their inaugural season basketball games, handling everything from venue operations, game production and game operations.
With a total of eight teams, the games took place over ten weeks across the United States in cities such as Brooklyn, Las Vegas, Seattle and Philly. An eight-week regular season culminated with two playoff games on week nine and a championship game that took place on week 10 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

To have eight competitive teams playing each other over 10 weeks across the Country was exciting for basketball fans, especially when many of the players and coaches were such extraordinary talents in the NBA. FOX Sports broadcast all of the BIG3 games the day after each live event and presented the Championship Game live from Las Vegas on August 26th. Because of the tremendous success of BIG3, FOX Sports has already renewed their agreement with the league.

All 8 teams in the league travel over the course of the season with each team consisting of three starters, two bench players and one reserve player.
